Empowers individuals with Down syndrome to reach their full potential at every stage of life by providing meaningful connections, resources, and inclusive opportunities

Programs and services include:

  • New Parent Community: a private online forum providing support, connection, and resources for parents of children with Down syndrome in Halton
  • Age-Based Peer Groups: volunteer-led groups for individuals with Down syndrome of all ages, offering social opportunities, programs, workshops, skill development, and support through important life transitions
  • Graduate Group: a dedicated social and support group for adults aged 21+ with Down syndrome
  • Family Social & Networking Events: opportunities for families to connect, build friendships, and share experiences
  • Advocacy Support: guidance and support to help individuals with Down syndrome and their families navigate systems, promote inclusion, and have their voices heard
