Description and Service Details
Description (Service) All crisis services are confidential and include: 
Mon-Sun 24 hours * includes all meals, emergency clothing and personal need items * emergency transportation to the shelter on request * temporary transportation assistance available to residents for appointments * Woman Abuse Education Program, weekly in-house education and information groups * 24-hour counselling for residents, non-residents and past residents, primarily using one-on-one counselling * group counselling sessions are scheduled, upon request * provides information and/or referrals for legal, medical, financial, housing, and employment services * provides access to Native Traditional methods of healing 
Transitional Housing and Support Program: 
Works to support women and their children who have experienced violence or abuse by connecting them with individualized services and supports within their communities * uses a holistic approach to assist women and children to live violence/abuse free and lead safe and meaningful lives. 
Honouring the Circle:  
Temporary housing available to single women and women with children who have experienced family violence and/or homelessness * connects them with individualized services and supports within their community * 45 bed Transitional Emergency Shelter. 
Aboriginal Community Counselling:  
Designed to provide Aboriginal specific community counselling, support, information, education, referral services for Aboriginal women who have experienced abuse.  
Services provided include: Supportive counselling * individualized support * danger assessments * education * referrals * safety planning * goal setting * access to Traditional Healing and Elder support 
Emergency Outreach Project:  
Provides emergency food and winter clothing assistance to the Aboriginal community who are at risk or are homeless 
Native Counselling/Discharge Planning:  
Provides counselling and awareness training to Native offenders incarcerated at the Hamilton-Wentworth Detention Centre
