Description and Service Details
Description (Service) Members include gardeners living in the Halton-Hamilton area who have diverse horticultural backgrounds and a desire to share their passion for gardening 
Volunteer at: local garden tours and shows to answer gardening questions * Royal Botanical Gardens festivals * special community garden projects * Canada Blooms (answering gardening questions and as guest speakers and expert panelists) * members also speak on garden topics (e.g., at Horticultural Societies and libraries)

Eligibility To join and become a Master Gardener in Training (MGiT), applicants must pass a short written eligibility test * MGiTs are required to either take specified courses or pass a certification exam, usually within three years, in order to become Master Gardeners * MGiTs are responsible for the costs of courses and the exam
