Description (Service)

Works with individual donors, government, corporate, community and construction partners to innovatively provide affordable housing solutions for the communities it serves

Activities include: 
 
Building projects:

  • builds homes for working lower-income families, primarily with volunteer labour and donated materials 
  • homes are mortgaged by Habitat for Humanity Halton-Mississauga-Dufferin to working lower-income families, who provide an investment of 500 hours of labour

ReStore:

  • sells affordable home products, new and used clothing, household goods, and new and used building supplies materials
  • funds raised support Habitat for Humanity Halton-Mississauga-Dufferin programs
