Description (Service) | Services altered in response to COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Hours: Mon and Wed 2 noon-2 pm * provides 4 bags of food: non-perishables, produce, hygiene and meat/bread (please bring own bags) * service at the door only * masks must be worn in line For more information email contact@compassionsociety.net or call 905-592-3722 --------------------------------------------------- Provides, as available: * clothing, shoes, and small household goods, personal and hygiene supplies such as toothpaste, toiletries, adult incontinence products, feminine products, cleaning supplies such as toilet paper, cleaning cloths and sprays (donations of all items are welcome) * seasonal programs for clients including jammies for families, back-to-school backpacks and holiday supplies * emergency food cupboard (all perishable and non-perishable items welcome) * on-site information booths from several service providers including Halton Housing, YMCA, Habitat for Humanity, Healthy Kids of Halton, Nurse from the Halton Region, Burlington Legal Aid, Burlington Parks and Rec, etc. about services and referrals to local resources on assigned days Collection boxes: See website for updated locations |
