Senior drivers can now renew their driver’s licences online at ServiceOntario.ca

Once drivers reach 80 years of age, every two years they must: 
* take a vision test 
* undergo a driver record review 
* participate in a 45-minute Group Education Session (GES) and complete two, brief, non-computerized in-class screening assignments 
* if necessary, take a road test 
 
After the session, the driver may need to: 
* pass a road test 
* follow up with a physician and submit medical information 
 
You can download the in-class screening practice test (part of the education session) in one of 16 languages as well as English and French.

Application Once the form and letter is received in the mail, call to book the appointment * the driver's licence number is required and staff should be informed about any language barriers or required accommodations such as a sign-language interpreter 
 
Do not go to a driver exam centre or an MTO office to book the appointment
