Description and Service Details
Description (Service) A full-size community orchestra with a forty-plus year track record of meeting its mission – to enrich Burlington, Hamilton, and the surrounding area with high calibre symphonic music and to offer performance opportunities to residents. 
The orchestra consists of talented amateurs, students, and professional players 
* performs 4-6 concerts per year at the Burlington Performing Arts Centre 
* holds an annual Young Artists' Competition to foster emerging talent

Eligibility Ages: 16 year(s) and up 
Must play an orchestral instrument (strings, woodwind, brass, percussion) and have several years of experience playing * orchestral experience is preferred but not required * audition may be required
Application Contact the Personnel Manager through the email form on the website to set up an audition 
* audition is informal, with candidates performing a piece of their choice 
* conductor will be looking for pitch, rhythm, musicality, and the ability to follow instruction
