Description (Service)	Issues/grants/denies/revokes record suspensions and makes recommendations for clemency National office Follows the Criminal Records Act Supervises all record suspensions and clemency recommendations Parole provides information on paroles hosts decision registry for paroles Record suspension Allows people who were convicted of a criminal offense to have their criminal record kept separate from other criminal records Clemency Granted in exceptional circumstances. Can be requested for: employment perceived inequity medical conditions immigration to Canada compassion financial hardship
