Provides funding to individuals and families in Canada and the U.S. for basic needs and quality of life. Grants typically range from $500 to $4,000 with a maximum of $5,000.

Types of Grants

• Purchase of necessary medical/mobility equipment
• Basic Needs, such as food, blankets, personal hygiene, cookware/dishes, small appliances, towels, diapers, crib, etc.
• Essential children's clothing, seasonal clothing, boots, shoes, work clothing, outerwear
• Dental, hearing, and eye care not covered by other sources such as government or employer health benefits
• Home adjustments for barrier free living, such as wheelchair ramps, shower supports, lifts, etc. Please see note below about requests for a portion of a larger expense
• Therapies such as physiotherapy, chiropractic, or psychotherapy, etc. that are needed for acute issues with specific short/medium-term timeframes (under 6 months) and that have clear outcome goals
• Utility bills
• Essential car repairs

• Applicant who completes the form must be 18 years and older, however recipient of the grant can be any age. Ie, a parent can apply for their child.
• Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
