Description and Service Details

Description (Service)	Provides standards of certification / education for therapeutic riding instructors. Manages instructor certification program. Consultant services, conferences, workshops, seminars. Programs include: Hippotherapy: utilization of the horse for therapeutic / rehabilitative purposes Equine-Facilitated Wellness: strategies and techniques that bring together clients and horses in healing and learning environments There are approximately 80 member centres across Canada that offer therapeutic riding, recreation, sport and life skills programs - see website for list or to use Member Centre map locator
