Description (Service)

Provides advocacy, education, coaching, skills training and legal referrals to persons facing discrimination, profiling, harassment or violence

  • delivers targeted outreach to Indigenous, Black communities and LGBTQ communities affected by racial profiling and other forms of discrimination and harassment
  • offers specialized tutorials to help communities seeking redress under the:
    • Ontario Human Rights Code (via the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal)
    • Canadian Human Rights Act (for federally regulated institutions)
  • connects with communities through direct programs, presentations and individual interviews
  • engages community members as volunteers for social justice activities and cultural programs
