Description (Service) Information for visitors to long term care homes, effective June 11, 2022

130 bed long-term care home * residential care for 72 private rooms and 52 basic rooms * 24-hour nursing and personal care * access to a doctor and other health professionals * secured unit is available
  • bedding and furniture
  • laundry and housekeeping
  • meals (special diet types available)
  • personal hygiene supplies
  • medical supplies and equipment (such as catheters, ostomy bags, or wound care supplies)
  • assistance with medication and activities of daily living
  • recreation and social programs

Additional services and facilities * fees may apply for some of these services:
  • exercise classes that focus on balance are held three times a week
  • palliative care program
  • hairdressing and barber services
  • dental care
  • foot care
  • respiratory care
  • chaplaincy/spiritual services
  • pharmacy
  • occupational therapy
  • speech-language therapy
  • pet therapy program * through St John's Ambulance
  • music, memory and Snoezelen program for residents with dementia
  • regular visits from local Legions
  • one outing per month for residents
  • free wireless internet throughout the building
