A Catholic voluntary organization dedicated to providing personal help to people located in Milton (south of Derry Road) in any kind of need. A local conference of the world wide Society of Saint Vincent de Paul.

People may call for various types of assistance. Some may need a compassionate ear, emergency assistance in the form of food vouchers or information that will help them access appropriate services.

• serves anyone requesting assistance, regardless of religious beliefs or affiliations
• will contact the caller directly to assist by setting up a time for a home visit
• minimal assistance provided on emergency short-term basis while clients are waiting to be connected with local Social Services programs

Call at any time, calls will be returned as quickly as possible

• volunteer on call will set up a mutually convenient time for a visit to the callers home to discuss their problems and what can be done
• help is open to people of all beliefs, ethnicity and lifestyles
