Description and Service Details
Description (Service) Programs and services include: 
Case Management 
* helps people manage symptoms in positive ways, get the right care, find a place to live, make healthy choices, and connect to others who can help 
Community Support Program 
* staff can meet with individuals in the community, in their home, or in the CMHA offices 
* walk-in counselling (no appointment necessary) is available at this office each Wednesday from 10 am-2 pm  
Community Concurrent Disorders Program 
* provide special support to people who have both a mental health concern and an addiction concern 
* provided in partnership with ADAPT (Halton Alcohol, Drug and Gambling Assessment, Prevention and Treatment Program), PAARC (Peel Addiction and Assessment Referral Centre), Peel Crisis Services – St. Elizabeth Healthcare, and Trillium Health Partners 
Dual Diagnosis Program 
* provides special support for people who have both a mental health concern and a developmental and/or intellectual disability 
Justice Services 
* for people who have mental health and/or addiction concerns and are involved in the criminal justice system 
* assist in getting the services needed and connections with others who can help 
Court Support 
* if an individual is accused of an offence this program can help them be diverted from the justice system and get the mental health and/or addictions help needed 
* if it is a more serious charge, helps with the mental health and/or addictions support needed while in the midst of court proceedings, such as the community treatment court 
* staff can meet with individuals in the community, in their home, or in the CMHA offices 
Transitional Services 
* assists people who in a correctional facility reintegrate back into the community in a safe and supportive manner 
Information and Referral 
* provide information on mental health, addictions, and services to promote improved health and well-being 
* provide current and comprehensive information for people who have a mental health and/or addiction concerns as well as family members, friends, physicians, health care workers, or service providers 
Crisis Outreach and Support Team (COAST)  
* provides telephone support and mobile intervention to persons who are in crisis and have a mental health concern  
Safe Place 
* for people who are in crisis, have mental health and/or addiction concerns, and need safe or emergency shelter 
* help deal with crises, getting treatment and support for mental health and addiction issues, finding a place to live, and connecting with others who care and can help
