Description and Service Details
Description (Service) Please refer to the Ministry of Health COVID-19 testing criteria for testing & assessment information 
 
Review the above criteria and book a COVID-19 test, if:
  • you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms 
  • you have been notified by a public health unit or the COVID Alert app that you have been exposed to a confirmed case of the virus 
  • you belong to a specific group outlined in guidance from the Chief Medical Officer of Health 
  • you are eligible for testing as an employee or volunteer in Long-term Care or congregate setting 
  • you are eligible for testing as part of a targeted testing initiative as determined by the Ministry of Health or Ministry of Long-term Care or public health (resident or visitors of long-term care homes or congregate settings) 
  • you require testing because you have a scheduled surgery or procedure at Joseph Brant Hospital 
  • you require testing because you are receiving oncology treatment at Joseph Brant Hospital
For your safety, assessment and testing is by appointment only, no walk-ins are allowed 
 
How to Book an Appointment
  • Book online at covidtesting.josephbranthospital.ca 
  • Call 905-632-3737 ext. 6550, Mon to Fri from 8 am to 6 pm, and leave a message with your name and contact information, and will be called back to arrange your appointment
Cancelling an Appointment
  • if you are unable to keep your appointment, please cancel so others can access this booking time 
  • instructions for cancelling your appointment can be found in your appointment email 
  • you can also cancel by calling 905-632-3737 ext. 6550
Assessment Centre
  • located in the former Cancer Clinic 
  • entrance is at the rear of the North Tower parking lot, facing the intersection of North Shore Boulevard and Maple Avenue (orange doors) 
  • please wait in your vehicle until you are called to enter
