Programs available out of Oakville office include: 
 
Community Connections 
* objective is to bridge the silos that separate newcomers and long term residents, encourage interaction leading to a community of engaged, interconnected and integrated members 
* newcomers identify their needs and areas of support and are matched with volunteers who live in the community 
* matches are encouraged to have regular contact with each other and set up visits to facilitate integration  
 
Employment Services 
Job Search Workshops 
* supports newcomers with one-one one employment counselling and employment related workshops/job fairs 
* facilitates connection between employers and newcomer job seekers 
* free workshops take place bi-monthly  
 
Entrepreneurship Program for Newcomers 
* a unique training program tailored to meet the needs of newcomers who have some basic sewing skills or interest in sewing and alterations 
* program provides participants with the skills, knowledge and language to start their own sewing and alterations business  
* participants will gain sewing skills and develop a firm understanding of business knowledge  
* includes a placement where participants will gain hands-on Canadian work experience at a sewing and alterations service 
* the goal of this program is to introduce newcomers to entrepreneurship with the ability to generate income through self-employment
