Description (Service) Programs available out of Oakville office include: 
 
Community Connections 
Matches newcomers with local volunteer mentors who help provide support with: 
* getting started in Canada  
* learning new life skills 
* building a social network 
* learning about community resources 
* increasing cultural awareness 
 
Employment Services 
Job Search Workshops 
* supports newcomers with one-one one employment counselling and employment related workshops/job fairs 
* facilitates connection between employers and newcomer job seekers 
* free workshops take place bi-monthly  
 
Entrepreneurship Program for Newcomers 
* entrepreneurship and income generation program for newcomers in the field of sewing and alterations 
* provides instruction in sewing skills, as well as the knowledge and language skills needed to start a sewing business  
* provides a firm understanding of business knowledge in a Canadian context

Bridging Program for Human Resources (HR) Professionals 
* career building and job search program for internationally trained professionals with experience in the Human Resources field
