| Description (Service) | Services altered in response to COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Some service suspensions in place: * only credit and debit are being accepted at this time (no cash or coins) * residents can pick up a Blue Box or Green Cart, but will be required to pick up their own and carry them to their vehicle * the Reuse Depot/Donation Centre is open for donations, however furniture is not being accepted at this time * the Reuse Paint and Stain Depot remains closed until further notice * all tours are suspended until further notice * Container Station Attendants are not permitted to assist customers with the unloading of materials ----------------------------------------------------- The Halton Waste Management Site (HWMS) provides Halton residents with a convenient one-stop location for the 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), waste disposal, and more Household Hazardous Waste Depot * safely dispose of household hazardous waste * commercial loads not accepted Orange Box for Household Hazardous Waste * provides a safe place to store old, used, or unwanted household hazardous waste until it can be dropped off * residents can pick up one Orange Box per household, free of charge Paint & Stain Reuse Depot * pick up and drop off usable paint and stain, free of charge * open from spring to fall Reuse Depot * drop off items that are in good condition and fit for resale * donating all clothing, textiles, and household items helps support life altering services and programs to the residents of Halton Region * for more information, see here Electronic Waste Recycling * electronic waste is accepted for free at the Halton Waste Management Site's Container Station * Special Waste Drop-off Days |
