Description (Service) | Services include: * 24-hour crisis line * free individual counselling for ages 14 and up * support services for friends and family members * advocacy, support and accompaniment to Nina's Place, the police station and court Public Education * customized public education workshops are available for elementary and high school students, community members and agencies in Halton * SAVIS is home to the Male Ally Network (MAN), which is composed of a network of men (14+) who are committed to ending violence against women and children Halton Collaborative Against Human Trafficking * created to raise awareness about human trafficking in Halton and surrounding area through public education and awareness presentations * for more information or to book a free presentation contact cstover@savisofhalton.org * the Oakville location is one of 5 SAVIS offices that are located in Halton * other locations include Milton , Burlington, Acton and Georgetown * call the main intake and information number at 905-825-3622 to arrange an appointment at this location * SAVIS is a member agency of Support Services Network for Male Survivors in Ontario |
