Description (Service)

Major services:

  • Instructional Remediation: one-on-one tutoring in reading/writing or math during the school year
  • Reading Rocks: an 8-week one-on-one literacy program for children 6-12
  • assistive technology
  • transition skills workshops for pre-teen and high school aged students
  • typing skills program
  • parent workshops and lectures, advocacy training and support
  • ongoing parent support through resource facilitation and in-school support as needed
  • on-site loaning library - books, videos and resource materials
  • community education through annual Conference held each spring
