Description and Service Details
Description (Service) Lighthouse offers peer support groups for children and youth ages 3-19 years, who are grieving the death of a parent, sibling, or close friend. 
 
New Enquiries:  
* Intake meetings are available in-person and online  
 
Peer Support Groups: 
* In-person groups have resumed 
* online groups continue to be available 
 
Education and Training 
* provide educational presentations and training to schools, educational organizations, employers, community agencies, faith communities and other groups on topics such as: understanding the grieving process, understanding child and youth grief, talking to children about death and dying, supporting grieving students at school and supporting grieving employees in the workplace
Hours Weekdays, late afternoon, early evening
Dates Lighthouse is open and staffed year round except on statutory holidays. Groups run from September to June but are closed on school holidays.
