Description (Service)

A growing group of community choirs that include the main adult choir of 75 choristers, Tempus Jazz (a jazz choir to be resumed in the future) and Tempus4Us (a free children's choir of ages 5 - 14, founded with the support of the Ontario Trillium Foundation) 
 
Repertoire includes pop, swing, classical, gospel, renaissance, jazz and broadway 

Sings a variety of music styles in:

  • local and international music festivals
  • concerts
  • competitions
  • performs at charity and community events and for older adults
Hours
  • Main adult choir rehearsals: Tue 7 pm-8:45 pm Sep to mid May at Knox Presbyterian Church
  • Christmas Concert at end of Nov or start of Dec
  • Spring Concert at end of Apr or start of May
Dates

  • 2 performances per year, mainly Christmas and Spring concerts
