Children's treatment centre

  • audiology, infant hearing program, preschool speech and language
  • assistive devices resource service
  • blind low vision early intervention program; early intervention resources
  • medical clinics
  • occupational therapy, physiotherapy, recreation therapy

Family Support Services:

  • Coordinated Service Planning for child/youth 18 years and under, with complex needs, or young adults 18-21 years, who are still in school and have complex needs; must be residents of Peel Region
  • Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) services
  • transition services
  • day, weekend and overnight respite services
  • client supports include navigation and social work services

Autism Services:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnostic assessment
  • caregiver-mediated early years program
  • entry to school program for children 3-6 years registered with the Ontario Autism Program (OAP)
  • free foundational services including post-diagnosis consultation, virtual learning hub, online workshops for parents and caregivers, social groups for preteens and teenagers
  • 1:1 Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) services for children 3-9 years; registration required; fees
  • Urgent Response Service for children and youth up to 18 years who are registered in OAP; includes up to 12 weeks of services/supports responding to specific needs to prevent further escalation of risk of harm to self, others and/or property

Spring/summer programs, and Independent Living Services for youth clients 16-19 years

Eligibility Ages: 21 year(s) and under Children and youth 19 years and under, with physical and developmental disabilities, autism, communication disorders, including children who are deaf or blind; varies by program

Ontario Autism Program: children and youth 18 years and under, with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder from a qualified professional; written diagnosis including assessment information and documentation pertaining to the diagnosis required

Coordinated Service Planning up to 18 years for children/youth with complex needs; up to 21 years for young adults in school Residency Requirements: Varies by program/service, contact for information or visit website
