Adult French as a Second Language Tests
Programs that administer tests to assess the French proficiency skills of adults for whom French is a second language for the purpose of placing learners in appropriate instructional levels and measuring their ongoing progress. Assessment tools include commercially available tests that assess French literacy (reading and writing), listening and speaking skills, as well as classroom-based tools such as surveys, interviews, checklists, observation measures, teacher-developed tests, learner self-assessment and portfolios or other performance samples.
French Language Proficiency Test Preparation
Programs, which may be available via the Internet, that help individual prepare for tests of French as as foreign language. The examination tests the French language proficiency of people planning to study in educational institutions, usually at university-level, around the world, in Canada, France, or other countries where French is the language of instruction, or who need to provide conclusive proof of their French-language abilities for professional reasons or in their application for immigration to Canada.
