DutiesOakville Senior Citizen Residence has many opportunities for volunteers in the community. Currently we are looking for volunteers to assist in running of our on-site cafe "OSCaR's Place". OSCaR's Place or 'OP', is a convenient spot for clients to purchase hot, fresh meals, beverages, snacks, groceries or miscellaneous items. OP volunteers assist in operating the cafe, with some of the duties including handling payment, preparing and serving coffee and refreshments and interacting and providing a social opportunity with our clients.  
OP is open Monday- Friday and runs from 10-4pm. Volunteers are split into two shifts : 10am-1pm and 1pm-4pm. Most shifts have two volunteers working together at a time.
