Nestled on the Niagara Escarpment, the Home’s tranquil surroundings are just minutes away from Highway 401 and the conveniences of the Town of Milton, Ontario’s fastest growing community. |
Designed and built to be a home away from home, The Darling Home for Kids has 7 bedrooms and can accommodate 12 children for overnight respite, palliative and residential care. Additional children and families can receive service through day programs and community outreach services. We are an oasis of joy and comfort to the children who access are Home and their families.

|Duties||Our Peer Frontline Volunteers are instrumental in providing care and interaction to our children. You will be engaging and with children who are medically fragile and/or technology dependent and providing them an experience where they simply get to 'just be kids'. |
Activities you may get to assist our kids with are:

-reading to our children
-going for walks
-outdoor games and activities
-meal time preparation and feeding

|Commitment Length||Long Term - Peer Frontline volunteers are asked to commit to an 8-month term. ; You will be part of the team and the staff will rely on you. A vast amount of time is invested in recruiting and training our volunteers. Minimum commitment is 8 hours/month|
