CommentsThe Darling Home for Kids is a state-of-the-art facility set on a beautiful 77-acre woodlot in Milton, Ontario. Nestled on the Niagara Escarpment, the Home’s tranquil surroundings are just minutes away from Highway 401 and the conveniences of the Town of Milton, Ontario’s fastest growing community.  
Designed and built to be a home away from home, The Darling Home for Kids has 7 bedrooms and can accommodate 12 children for overnight respite, palliative and residential care. Additional children and families can receive service through day programs and community outreach services. We are an oasis of joy and comfort to the children who access are Home and their families.

DutiesThe Frontline Volunteer works alongside the professional care team and provides companionship to enhance the quality of life for our children during their stay at The Darling Home for Kids. Frontline volunteers are involved in our residential and respite programs.  
Our Frontline volunteers are with the children at the bedside, during activities, within the Snoezelen area, enjoying arts and crafts, spending time outside, and generally are there to support the child and Frontline staff with whatever activities are going on around the Home.  
Frontline volunteers must be at least 20 years of age.

We require Frontline volunteers evenings and weekends while school is in session and have additional shifts available in the summer, December break, March break and any PD days.
