Designed and built to be a home away from home, The Darling Home for Kids has 7 bedrooms and can accommodate 12 children for overnight respite, palliative and residential care. Additional children and families can receive service through day programs and community outreach services. We are an oasis of joy and comfort to the children who access are Home and their families.

|Duties||The Frontline Volunteer works alongside the professional care team and provides companionship to enhance the quality of life for our children during their stay at The Darling Home for Kids. Frontline volunteers are involved in our residential and respite programs. |
Our Frontline volunteers are with the children at the bedside, during activities, within the Snoezelen area, enjoying arts and crafts, spending time outside, and generally are there to support the child and Frontline staff with whatever activities are going on around the Home.
Frontline volunteers must be at least 20 years of age.

Shifts are 4 hours and volunteer are asked to commit to a minimum of two 4 hour shifts per month.
We require Frontline volunteers evenings and weekends while school is in session and have additional shifts available in the summer, December break, March break and any PD days.
