Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of diverse learners and their communities? The Centre for Diverse Learners (CDL) is seeking dedicated volunteers to join our team. As a General Volunteer, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission to empower individuals with diverse learning needs through various administrative tasks, program oversight, and community outreach initiatives.

Duties

 

  1. Program Oversight:

    • Collaborate with CDL staff to ensure the smooth execution of programs.
    • Monitor and report on program outcomes and participant feedback.
    • Work closely with program facilitators to maintain safe staff-to-child ratios during activities and events.
    • Help implement safety protocols and emergency procedures as needed.
  2. Community Outreach:

    • Act as an ambassador for CDL by attending events and engaging with the community to promote our programs and essential services.
    • Share information about CDL's mission and impact with potential participants, donors, and partners.
