Duties

Objective:

To assist the Public Education Coordinators (PEC’s) in delivering high quality and effective education and social programs via the Zoom on-line platform.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

Co-host responsibilities during classes include: Management of class allowing educator to focus on leading and content, including giving participants access into meeting (some classes don’t have wait rooms); assisting attendees who are struggling to find camera or audio cues (this would be done via the chat room); redirecting questions from attendees if needed (for example: let participant know question will be answered at the end); directing the educator’s attention to questions in the chat box (for example: the educator stated questions could be asked during the class); evicting participants who are not participating appropriately; letting educator know that session is over time (if needed)
