Role: As a Food Prep Volunteer, you will assist with the prepping, packing, and handing out of meals to the kids who attend out Saturday studio shows.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepping food in the kitchen (basic chopping, slicing or sorting)
  • Packing the meals
  • Serving food to the kids at the start of the theater show
  • Kitchen clean up and reset
  • Ensure kitchen health and safety guidelines are met
  • Ensure items in kitchen are stored properly

Qualifications:

  • Must understand our organizational values
  • Must be able to follow all CityKidz policies and procedures
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Must be able to multitask and have good attention to detail
  • Must have a general knowledge of food safely

Screening:

All volunteers are required to complete the following:

  • Volunteer Orientation
  • Personal interview
  • Reference checks
  • Police check (renewed every three (3) years)
  • Role specific training
