Friendly Visiting Volunteer
(Acclaim Health, Community Support Services)
An easy and fun volunteer opportunity! You can support your community by visiting an isolated older adult in their home. Whether you engage in a conversation, play a game or pursue common interests, your time and company is appreciated. Depending on the client, you may be able to take them on outings such as drives, helping with errands or out for coffee. It's a wonderful way to brighten someone else's day. Visits typically are once a week for 1-2 hours.
COVID-19 safety protocols in place.
