Training | Orientation ; Training is provided ; Scheduled training ; Training on the job ; Training on-going ; Volunteers are encouraged to attend support meetings as required, ensuring adequate advance notice is provided. Volunteers are anticipated to actively engage in a series of three training sessions, each spanning 3 to 4 hours, held weekly over a three-week period. Volunteers will work with current Senior Connectors to further understand the role. Volunteers will participate in different sessions to learn more about the community services offered. |
Transportation | Near public transit ; Driver License required ; Car required ; In general, Senior connectors will have to have a reliable source of transportation to be able to do this role effectively. |
