Duties | The Development Committee is a group of individuals who support the mission and growth of The Cedarbrook Society. The committee is established by and responsible to the Board of Directors to recommend, advise and support the fundraising activities of the organization, and will serve to enhance the credibility and awareness of The Darling Home for Kids to a new and growing audience of potential supporters and donors. |

Commitment Length | Long Term ; 1. Attend a minimum of 70% of all regularly constituted meetings per calendar year. 2. Make The Darling Home for Kids a personal giving priority, and commit to financially supporting a minimum of one fundraising revenue line annually (ie. monthly giving, major gift, signature event, third party event) 3. Act in the best interests of the organization using a consensus model where appropriate. 4. Be prepared to actively participate in the discussions and work of the Committee and carry out assigned tasks. 5. Support the Chair in ensuring the Committee meets its strategic fundraising plan, and overall purpose and objectives. |
