DutiesProvide emotional and social support to adults with a terminal diagnosis.  
Talk about gardening, art, sailing, travel, cars, fashion, war planes, sitting quietly... almost any topic of interest that you would like to share with another person.  
Visits usually take place once a week for about 1-2 hours in the client’s home.  
Depending on the client’s ability, volunteers may also take the client out for a walk or a drive.  
Sometimes the volunteer provides respite time for the caregiver also.
