KidSport Halton exists and thrives thanks to our amazing partners and enthusiastic volunteers. Whether you're a big sports fan, believe in the importance of health and wellness for kids, or just want to help make your community better, we'd love to have you on our team.

We're always looking for more volunteers to help out in different roles, taking part in fun events and activities throughout the year. You could support us at fundraising events or even take on important roles in our chapter committee. You can also volunteer to organize your own fundraiser and really be a part of the KidSport spirit!

Duties

KidSport has launched the 12th Annual Give the Gift of Sport campaign! This year, we want to go BIG and raise $1 Million to help break down financial barriers for children across Canada. We are looking for a social media coordinator to support the campaign.

  • Creating local and engaging text, image and video content
  • Designing posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and creating buzz around new products
  • Expertise in multiple social media platforms
  • Train other volunteers to use social media in a cohesive and beneficial way
