Duties The Willow Foundation is seeking motivated, innovative and collaborative individuals interested in enriching the lives of older adults in Halton Region to join their Board of Directors. 
 
The Willow Foundation (TWF) is a non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to improving the health and wellness of older adults residing in Halton Region’s three Long Term Care Homes and participants in the three Adult Day Programs. 
Through the initiation and coordination of fundraising activities, TWF support charitable projects, programming, education and wellness promotion, which will enhance the quality of life to those that we serve. 
 
Responsibilities: 
The Willow Foundation Board of Directors has a few openings for individuals with expertise in one of the following areas: fundraising, grant writing, event management, legal, marketing, communications, social media, web development or therapeutic recreation. The candidate should have a strong sense of volunteerism and social media experience. 
 
Board meetings are held once a month, the 3rd Thursday of the month from 8am-9:30am. The meetings rotate between our three LTC homes (Burlington, Milton, Oakville) with a commitment of approximately five hours a month on average (which includes board meeting time and committee participation).
