Comments | We are a grassroots organization with roots in the initiation of city-wide recycling in Canada under the name "Citizen's Committee for Pollution Control (CCPC): 1970-1983. We have interests in many types of environmental issues including recycling.
Contact | Robbie McGregor, Founder/President/Volunteer Coordinator, Recycling Revisited Inc.; Phone: 905-318-9566
Duties | Experience or financial education preferred. As a small organization, our finances are quite uncomplicated. At tax time, assistance could be provided (if needed) for the completion of tax documents. You would be a member of the Board, which is an interesting experience in a friendly organization that is still in a transitional process. We have deep roots in the 1970-1983 parent organization, and a restarted under our current name in 2012 - then circumstances that led to an almost entirely new membership. We are very democratic and informal but need to be aware of government requirements. For our distant history, look up our website (recyclingrevisited.org) and you will find a link to our 16-minute historical documentary and two books.
