In search of In-community volunteer leaders to run Canadian Blood Services donor recruitment initiatives at various locations throughout the Hamilton/Burlington area. Volunteers will run information tables, promote community awareness regarding Canadian Blood Services projects and lead donor recruitment.

Duties• Run monthly promotional booth for Canadian Blood Services at various locations in the community (including Joseph Brant Hospital) including set-up and tear-down of the table and any other equipment (if applicable)  
• Provide courteous and responsive service to prospective donors  
• Provide information about Canadian Blood Services programs and recruit blood donors 
• Assist with management of participant records and event documentation  
• Deliver professional presentations on behalf of Canadian Blood Services about programs (including stem cell registry, as appropriate), the importance of blood donation and the need to recruit new blood donors for Canada’s blood system  
• Complete all required forms on time and bring forward requests for additional information and post-presentation feedback to Volunteer Resources
