As the Entertainment Lead, you will: Plan various entertainment and activities to keep participants entertained and having fun throughout the event • Coordinate logistics and materials for all planned events and activities • Plan for all beverages and food for the event • Work with other captains to determine the official event day schedule • Leads all aspects of event day entertainment. Secure sound equipment. Secure performers. Build entertainment schedule including activities.

Helping the staff with the various programs pertaining to our Social Media group and Theatre Group.
We are looking for volunteers who would like to work with our Social Media team (interviewing, editing, video and photo) and to work with our Theatre group (writing play scripts, rehearsing lines, setting up final stage presentation)
In The Loop Media (Mondays and/or Wednesdays 9-3).

- Edit a large collection of videotaped interviews with individuals who were active in the Citizen Action in Burlington that pioneered city-wide recycling in Canada. The collection has been used in the completion of a 20-minute documentary. We intend to add more material from the collection to create a longer documentary on the same topic.
- Create an "Interview Library" for our collection. Go over all of the footage for bits that need to be cut out due to misstatements, repetitions, interruptions, etc.
** Must have video editing experience and use your own editing equipment
