Holy Rosary Catholic Elementary School, 261 Plains Rd E, Burlington
The Aldershot Youth Volunteer Team is looking for Burlington youth, 12 to 17 years old (born from 2002-2007), to volunteer with us. We’re providing an opportunity for youth to have a voice in Aldershot, Burlington and to work with adult allies from different organizations. We believe that youth voices matter, especially when it comes to making decisions that affect them!  
 
Crew Member responsibilities: 
• Plan, organize and participate on projects and events 
• Give insight about what’s missing in our community for youth and how we can work together to find some solutions 
• Attend meetings on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month at “the Hub” at Holy Rosary school – 5:30-7:30pm 
• A suggested commitment of 6-12 months, but feel free to attend some meetings first to check it out! 
 
Please note: This opportunity is intended for youth residing in Burlington, Ontario.

The Halton Youth Initiative is a new project supported by Our Kids Network and the Ontario Trillium Foundation. Youth-adult tables are active in Acton, Aldershot, Milton and North Oakville. These tables focus on creating campaigns and events that connect into key areas concerning youth. Adult allies act as support to youth table members through role modelling, giving feedback, and providing guidance to youth for the table tasks and activities. 
 
Duties include: 
* Meet with the Aldershot table a minimum of 6 meetings per year (12 hour commitment) 
* Build relationships with and increase developmental assets of youth table members 
* Assistance with tables tasks and activities as required 
* Completion of Our Kids Network and Ontario Trillium Foundation evaluations

* Meet with the Milton Youth Action Team a minimum of 6 meetings per year (12 hour commitment) 
* Build relationships with and increase developmental assets of youth table members 
* Assistance with tables tasks and activities as required 
* Completion of OKN and Ontario Trillium Foundation evaluations

Our Kids Network
Oak Park Neighbourhood Centre, 2200 Sawgrass Drive, Oakville
The NOYDC is looking for Oakville youth, 12 to 17 years old to participate in our various volunteer opportunities. We provide opportunities for youth to have a voice in North Oakville and get involved in building a caring and supportive neighbourhood for youth. Youth volunteers are any youth in North Oakville, or neighbouring Oakville areas, who wish to get involved in the project by participating in subcommittees, workgroups, peer engagement activities, community events, etc. Contact us for current opportunities. 
 
Duties may include the following items depending on the current project:  
• Youth insights and feedback on various projects  
• Learning about community resources and sharing them with your friends and other youth you know  
• Planning, organizing and participating in projects and events  
• Advocacy around project deliverables that have an impact on youth in our community 
 
 
*PLEASE NOTE: This opportunity is intended for youth residing in Oakville, Ontario. We are specifically seeking youth volunteers from the following schools in our North Oakville neighbourhood, but would be open to any youth living in Oakville who want to apply:
