Make an immediate positive difference for the planet locally! Join our Event Greening Team as a Waste Diversion Ambassador at the City of Burlington’s Canada Day Festival. 
 
You'll receive training and have the chance to educate hundreds of festival-goers about where to place their waste.  
 
Help raise community awareness, encourage proper waste diversion, and make sure as little as possible is sent to landfill from this event. You won’t need to touch waste.  
 
*Eligible for high school volunteer hours. 
 
You can volunteer with family members or friends. Or even sign up with a larger group like members of a club, workplace team, faith community or sports team. Waste Diversion Ambassadors usually work in pairs or groups of three, rather than independently.

Since 1982, The Family Place Child Care has been providing non-profit child care to children in Milton and Oakville.  
 
We are currently looking for an individual with a background in finance or human resources who can contribute to the ongoing success of our organization. Our board meets bi-monthly on Wednesdays via Zoom and you would be required to commit to a two-year term.

• Returning containers and any money collected to the designated depot 
• Returning any undelivered meals to the designated depot 
 
b) Maintain confidentiality of route sheets

Escalate urgent issues to senior staff/Fringe Club Coordinator via online messaging and/or in-person onsite.
