You will design and deliver significant messaging for the four main ceremonies for the Relay For Life; Opening Ceremonies, Survivor Victory Lap (in partnership with the Survivor Lead), Luminary Ceremonies, and Closing Ceremonies. Your experience with event management and your attention to detail will have a significant impact on the tone of the night and will be critical in creating a sense of community.

As a Fundraising & Sponsorship Lead, you are self-motivated, strategic, and have community knowledge and connections. You will find donations for the event from local businesses and community members. Donations may include monetary contributions or items that will be needed on the big night. These resources will benefit volunteers, participants, and survivors and make a significant contribution to the success of the event.

As the Participant and Team Coaching lead, you will utilize your personal and professional networks to raise awareness, encourage participation and drive fundraising results for local participants and teams. You will engage your team to execute an organized event, with emphasis on event logistics and participant experience. You will prepare pre-event and event day operational plans and support the committee members who report to you. Your team also includes entertainment, ceremonies, volunteer engagement, and impact.

Milton Relay For Life
As the Logistic Lead for Milton Relay For Life, you are positive, organized, resourceful, and can lift 30 lbs.  
You will work with other leads to plan the event day activities, including the timing for setup and take-down, and the schedule of events.  
You will also coordinate the location for any pick-ups and deliveries and provide logistics support to all committee members.  
You are a people person and will experience a strong sense of satisfaction when you facilitate all the pieces of the Relay event coming together.  
The committee will meet regularly over the course of the year, with increasing commitments as the event approaches

- Volunteers have the chance to plan an amazing event that could include live music, DJs, games, sports and other activities to keep fellow students engaged and active throughout the event.
