Oakville- Keeps a record of names and addresses of clients to be transported to the selected location. The Coordinator will call to provide this list before the event.

Transports clients in your own vehicle, escorting the client from their door into the vehicle, and helps as necessary. Transports client’s home after the event, escorting the client to their door as necessary.

Drive to event and dine with clients, (or return at designated time).

Uses sanitization practices such as recommended hand washing and food handling guidelines.

Maintains contact with Coordinator, providing input on client needs or concerns.

Maintains calmness in emergencies, with an ability to assist in a crisis.

Participates in annual volunteer survey.

Interacts professionally in accordance with Links2Care Code of Conduct and Human Rights Act.

Maintains complete confidentiality of client information in accordance with Links2Care confidentiality/privacy policy.

- Pick up groceries from grocery stores and complete the delivery from the list provided by the coordinator.

Communicates with the coordinator about any substitutions that need to be made.

Delivers the groceries to the client’s door.

Completes and submits a monthly volunteer time record.

- Be physically able to lift heavy items such as cases of water, bags of potatoes, and carry shopping bags. Physically able to stand and/or walk for one to two hours at a time.

cards or sharing a hobby as per client interests, in order to develop a respectful, friendly, caring
