Description and Service Details

Description (Service)	Program funds eligible employers for short term projects that provide work experience and skills development to unemployed Ontarians Job seekers gain work experience in projects that help the community and benefit the local economy, develop or enhance employable skills, and provide networking opportunities to increase their chance of finding long-term employment
Hours	Mon-Fri 8:30 am-5 pm ; closed statutory holidays

Eligibility	Project participants must be unemployed and currently receiving Employment Insurance (EI); or have had an EI claim end in the past three years; or have received EI parental benefits in the last 5 years and are re-entering the labour force; must be legally entitled to work in Canada Eligible employers -- businesses, non-profit organizations, certain Crown corporations, municipalities, First Nations councils, public health and educational institutions Residency Requirements: Ontario
