Refer to the Town of Oakville's COVID-19 web page for the impact of this shutdown on Town of Oakville facilities, services and programs Parks & Rec Guide * the town has transitioned to a paperless Parks, Recreation and Culture guide * programs.oakville.ca is a new web application that offers a more convenient and user-friendly recreation program search tool ------------------------------------------------ A recreation centre offering a full range of recreational activities, instructional classes, and fitness programs. Programs and services include: * pre-registered classes and camps * ice pad, 200 by 100 feet * double gymnasium * drop-in programs, recreational skating, skate and helmet rentals * programs for those ages 50+ in the Older Adults Centre * an indoor track * circuit, weight training and cardio equipment * Oakville Hockey Development programs * fitness and wellness programs * Kinsmen Pine Room for public meetings and events * assistance with program fees may be available through the Town of Oakville subsidy programs * designated as a local cooling centre during times of extreme heat and a warming centre during times of extreme cold |
