| Description (Service) | Provides educational services to thousands of elementary aged students each year through: International and Indigenous Languages Elementary Program (IILE) * for ages JK-Grade 8 * offered from Sep-Jun and the month of July Grade 6, 7 & 8 Summer School Programs * offered throughout the month of July Math and Literacy Programs * for grade 6,7 & 8 students * designed for current HDSB students that consistently attain a Level 3 or lower on their report card or are Newcomers to Canada Grade 8 High School Reach Ahead Summer Credit Courses * students who consistently achieve Level 3 or higher can achieve a high school credit online through remote teacher-led instruction by successfully completing one of 2 summer school courses * participation in these courses will help students transition into a high school environment, and will result in a spare in their senior year of high school * programs run at various sites throughout Halton * for more information see website |
