The Health Department works in the community and with partner organizations to enhance the health and safety of residents through the delivery of public health programming related to: 
* nutrition 
* tobacco use prevention 
* immunization 
* parenting and school health 
* sexual health 
* substance use prevention 
* injury prevention 
* oral health 
 
Conducts investigations and inspections to protect residents from communicable diseases and environmental hazards such as contaminated food and water 
 
Paramedic Services provide essential emergency response services to the community
