Description (Service) Services altered in response to COVID-19 (Coronavirus) 
 
* if you would like to begin upgrading your skills in preparation for employment, apprenticeship, independence or high school credit, please contact O'BrienH@hcdsb.org

Literacy and basic skills training, including numeracy, digital, communication and interpersonal skills * helps learners prepare for employment, apprenticeship, secondary school credit, post-secondary education and greater independence 
 
The GROW program:  
* provides learners with special needs the opportunity to develop their literacy and numeracy skills in preparation for employment 
* small group setting 
* individualized programming 
* non-credit, part time day classes 
* students must be able to set and meet goals
Hours Office Mon-Fri 8 am-4 pm * daytime classes are available, call for class times 
 
Non-credit Academic Upgrading: 
Thomas Merton Secondary School - Oakville Campus 
Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu 8:30 am-11:30 am and 12:30 pm-3 pm
