Description (Service) | Community supports include: Accessibility: strives to have people of all ages and abilities enjoy the same opportunities as they live, work, play and visit our city Burlington Youth Student Council: made up of high school aged students who are looking to learn more about City initiatives, get involved and provide feedback Community Funding and Grant Programs: available to support community based non-profit organizations and residents that provide programs and services in Burlington Community Gardens: rental of a garden plot for a season Community Hub: free space for community neighbourhood groups looking to provide free activities, programming or events to Burlington residents Love My Neighbourhood: form connections, strengthen relationships and build support systems for your neighbourhood Neighbourhood Community Matching Fund: inspiring community connections through community led projects Neighbourhood Connectors: makes connections between neighbours and makes it easier for neighbours to connect, share strategies and build relationships Neighbourhood Rinks: collaboration between residents and the City where residents can apply to have a rink put in their local City of Burlington owned park Recreation Fee Assistance: assistance for help paying for recreation programs |
